Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr Lim Kok Wing heads a wide variety of organisations. At the apex is his Limkokwing Integrated Group, a multi-disciplinary consultancy group which includes a number of subsidiary companies involved in film/video production, design, multimedia, education and publishing.

World recognition

Tan Sri Lim’s vision and pioneering efforts in education, his global initiatives and committed leadership have been recognised by a great number of organisations, both Malaysian and foreign.

He was inducted into the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame, an elite corps of men and women who have been recognised for their exceptional entrepreneurial achievements.

For his efforts in promoting world peace, he received the Ambassador for Peace Award from Universal Peace Federation and Inter-religious and International Federation for World Peace.

He was awarded the Palestinian Distinguished World Citizen of Peace and Humanity Award in 2009.

His leadership role and commitment to innovation was also noted by the Business Initiative Directions (BID) which presented Limkokwing the International Star Award for World Quality Commitment, Gold Category. BID, with headquarters in Madrid, Spain, is one of the most important private organisations in the world presenting a quality award and promoting quality culture in leading companies.

He also received the Global Award for Innovation from Oxford Association of Management in the UK.

In 2006, the London Graduate School of Management bestowed upon him the title “Asia’s most creative thinker and personality”.
